Small art to benefit breast cancer research
honoring Tamara Cogan
Opens February 1st with the art stroll 5-7 p.m.

Live music, chocolate and great art for a great cause - all work under $100.
All work will be available for sale in our online shop

This exhibition will show artwork which celebrates all that is love (not just hearts), in all its aspects and invites artists everywhere to enter.

We at artstream feel there is not enough LOVE in the world. We also believe there is peace through love. We aim to add LOVE to the world through this visual project in February 2008.

At least 50% of the retail price of each artwork sold will support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The other 50% goes directly back to the artists we love, unless the artwork is donated fully.

This exhibit is open to all artists within all media from anywhere in the world.

• The charity we will donate artstream’s proceeds to is near and dear to our hearts: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

We are looking for diversity, both student and professional work in traditional media such as

• painting, printing, paper arts, and sculpture

as well as work in less traditional fine art media such as:

• textiles of any sort, quilting, needlework, etc.
• felting, knitting, crochet
• mixed media
• jewelry
• recycled art
• photographic work
• digital media
• book arts

Each artist may enter up to three works to be juried in any media – framed or unframed. We will hang works on paper using pins/L-pins or bullclips.

• Ready to hang on wall or sit on our pedestal
• Size not to exceed 10 by 10 by 10 inches
• Retail price not to exceed $100
  (artists will receive 50% of this unless they choose to donate the the entire sale of the artwork)

We can only accept submissions through the electronic form and electronic payment. We will jury work as it arrives to us, and contact you no later than January 22, 2008.

For the works sold 50% of the retail price will be paid to the artists email/paypal account that was used for the submission. The remaining 50% will be given directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. If you chose to donate your part 100% of the retail price will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

All acceptance notifications will be sent by January 22, 2007 via email only. We will contact everyone, but only by email.

The original work must be received by January 28th at our gallery. All unsold work must be picked up at the gallery or return shipping cost must be received by March 15th.

Opening for Lovely Hearts Charity Event in on Friday February 1 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m - everything love will be in the air! All works will be also represented in our online gallery shop starting at 5 p.m. February 1.
