Teen/Adult Clay workshops
Handbuilding with clay and porcelain
$125
Choose from Saturday, June 26 10:00-2:00 p.m. or Saturday, July 24 10:00-2:00 p.m.
Handbuilding with porcelain workshop. Using a variety of methods you will create nesting bowls in porcelain. Time will be spent learning techniques, finishing processes and overall quality construction with this beautiful and challenging material.
Each workshop will be 4 hours long and includes all materials, glaze and firing. Megan Bogonovich

Ages 4-6 Wednesdays 4-5 p.m.
Maskmaking in Clay $85
Create a variety of masks to hang on the wall in the style of African, Native American, and theatrical type masks with emphasis on personal style. All clay, glazes and firing included in price.

Expression in Paint $85
Painting with water media taking our lead from the masters and art work shown in the gallery we will create two canvases during this six week class. All materials included.

Teen Class $85
Using drawing as our basis, this class will explore lots of media creating work in mixed media, drawing and painting along with a 3D experience as well.

Adult Drawing Mondays 5:30 7 p.m. $100
For six weeks, each student will explore drawing techniques, personal style and lots and lots of perspective, foreshortening and trouble areas and traps in drawing. Each student should come to the first class with some vine charcoal and a large oversized pad of newsprint drawing paper.
Adult Jewelry Monday 7:15-8:45 p.m. $75+ $50 materials fee
WIre bending, Fiber, Beading, Sculpture and found objects will all be part of this exciting new class!
Adult Painting Wednesdays 5:30-7 p.m. $100
Beginning Painting Class in opaque media
Absolute beginners and those who haven’t painted for a while will enjoy this relaxing no pressure class focusing on your own personal style and color theory. Materials list provided at first class. Bring what you have already to evaluate.

For advanced students.
This class is for students who have painted before or are painting currently. We will explore advanced themes in opaque media. Please bring your own paints, canvas and easels and be ready to paint at the first class.

For all levels of students
Way beyond collage, this class will explore preparing backgrounds, composition, layers, drawn elements and an encyclopedia of playful methods to create exciting beautiful works of art on a variety of surfaces. Some materials supplied materials list will be supplied at first class. Bring a package of 3 canvas boards 11x14 inches to your first class and be ready to start!

Camp 1 -
Collage a Story June 28th - July 2nd $75
Ages 4-6 10 11 a.m.
For the young child, we will be creating pages of a story with collage methods rendering a full blown picture book by week’s end. Using drawing, painting and collage skills in our own style after the masters: Eric Carle, Ezra Jack Keats and Leo Leoni
Ages 7-10 11:15 12:15
For the school age child we will create a book from beautiful collaged papers we make ourselves and tell a story with or without our words. All the pages will be bound into a book by week’s end.
Ages 11-14 12:30 1:30
For the tween, we will combine collage methods and drawing to create graphic novellas in our own style using a variety of papers both handmade and precolored. The end product will be bound into a book by the week’s end.

Making your own dinner set!
Ages 4-6 10-11 a.m.
For the young child, focus will be on creating a set of small size bowl, plate and mug. The set will be formed and glazed by week’s end, pick up of pieces the following week. All materials included

For the school aged child we will create a dinnerware set of bowl, plate, cup and saucer which will be glazed and fired the following week of class. Each child will gain a greater understanding of hand building techniques. All materials included

Teen Camp July 5th 9th $85

Jewelry making + wire sculpture creations!
Learn to make wire jewelry, beaded, twisted and turned wire and small sculptures with master jeweler Emily Higgins. Each student will chose to create in jewelry forms or sculpture, with plenty of opportunity to make a variety of forms. All materials included.
Camp 3 July 12 July 16th $75
Painting in the style of …
Ages 4-6 10-11 a.m.
Each day we will “meet” a different artist and create a painting after the style of that artist. Some famous, some not so, all fun in water media paints. This class will be messy dress appropriately!
Ages 7-10 11:15- 12:15
Three different artists will be introduced throughout the week with stories, books and posters. Each child will complete three paintings in water media in the style of the master with an emphasis on personal interpretation.
Ages 11-14 12:30 1:30
The older child will study a variety of artists through our vast library of artists and works in the gallery. After choosing an artist the student will create a work or two on canvas throughout the week. Emphasis is on skill building and personal style.
Camp 4 July 19th July 23 $75
Printmaking
Ages 4-6 10-11 a.m.
For the young child we will be creating prints of our own with a wide variety of methods and water based inks. Each student will make a series of prints each day with different methods.
Ages 7-10 11:15-12:15
For the school aged child we will create a number of series of prints in relief, screen, block and other methods. Each series will be runs of at least 6 or more and at the week’s end we will have a print exchange with our peers!

For the older tween/teen we will create a number of series of prints in relief, screen, block and other methods. Each series will be runs of at least 6 or more and at the week’s end we will have a print exchange with our fellow students. Screen printing will also include a screened tee shirt. bring one or three plain tees to class!
Camp 5 July 26th July 30th
Drawing/Illustration/Cartooning! $75
Ages 4-6 10-11 a.m.
For the young child we will be creating illustrations and drawings to stories we know well and to some new stories we will tell! Each student will focus on learning some new skills with emphasis on fun!
Ages 7-10 11:15-12:15
For the school aged child we will will illustrate some passages of books which have vivid imagery and delightful ideas. Emphasis is on learning a few new skills and bringing out the student’s own personal style.
Ages 11-14 12:30 1:30
For the older child/teen we will create some drawings from life, learn skills to improve our drawing and illustrate with a variety of media. Cartooning will be introduced as students are interested with the focus on thumbnail sketches for all work. Personal style emphasis and skill building.
Camp 6 August 2-6 $75
Puppetry Adventures
Ages 4-6 10-11
Create a variety of puppets and perform with them by week’s end. Using a variety of materials, we will enjoy making something we can play with for many years!
Ages 7-10 11:15-12:15
We will create a spoon puppet and write a small play to perform by the week’s end. Using a variety of construction methods these puppets will be treasured forever. Emphasis on construction methods and set design!
Ages 8 11
Nature Journaling 12:30 1:30
Create a journal to keep with a variety of methods directly relating to and made from nature walks, observation of nature and collections in the vicinity. Some days will take us out of doors others will be spent working in the studio with our objects which we have found and which are supplied. Great for the nature enthusiast and one who likes to draw!
