On April 24th 2004, we presented an evening of Poets Liz Ahl, twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize, instructor at Plymouth State University, LR Berger, this year's recipient of the Jane Kenyon Prize, Pat Frisella, winnner of the 2003 Anthony Piccione Younger Poets Prize and President of the Poetry Society of NH, Cynthia Huntington, NH's new State Poet Laureate and Dartmouth Professor, and Maren Tirabassi, Portsmouth Poet Laureate Emerita and editor of the Anthology Portsmouth Unabridged, are scheduled to read from their work. Up and coming folk artist Adrian Carney and Christine Simes of Elysium Dance Project will perform with the latter's moden dance troupe and African drummers. |
